Devices Can't be Discovered on Konnected iOS App

June 24, 2021 - We've identified an issue with the Konnected app on iOS that is preventing Konnected devices from being automatically discovered on the network. We are actively working to resolve this issue.

Recently, Apple made some security updates to iOS devices which restrict the ability of apps to broadcast or multicast on the network. This has unfortunately broken the ability of the Konnected app to discover Konnected devices automatically. The issue is confirmed in Konnected app version 1.0.2 and 1.0.3, which are currently live in the Apple App store.

We are actively working to resolve this issue in an upcoming app update.

iOS Users Must Use a Workaround to Discover Konnected Devices

If you're unable to discover your Konnected Alarm Panel devices use one of the following workarounds in the meantime until the issue can be fixed:

  1. Use an Android device if you have one available. This issue affects iOS devices only.
  2. Manually enter the IP address and port number of the Konnected device(s) in the app.
