A heads up for people struggling with WiFi connections and powering their board through USB only. Not all mobile phone adapters are suitable and may lead to the board dropping its connection or randomly rebooting . I’ve no idea why. suspect the voltage isn’t always to spec. I found this out while failing to get a permanent connection to WiFi, I decided to re flash the board and set up Home Assistant while it was still connected to the computer with no problem. When the board was installed in the alarm powered by a charger it failed to connect. Tried various chargers and found some ok, some not. Hope this helps someone out. Regards.
