So, I am new to this. I setup the Konnected diy kit and all is good on doors and window switch function however I am having issues with the smoke alarms. I have GE541NB photoelectric smoke detectors in use. These units are 4 wire and interconnected in a normal open state. When I have the pin the smokes are connected to designated as a "Smoke Detector" it registers as smoke is always detected. I switched the for the smoke alarm function from normal open to normal closed and smoke is still detected......If I switch that pin to a regular Open/Closed switch things seem to work correctly, the smokes show up as open and if I apply smoke to any of them the switch goes to closed. So what am I doing wrong here?
