Hi all - I am anxiously awaiting my 18 zone kit to arrive this Tuesday. I spent the morning removing the mid 90s ADEMCO / Vista 20 system board and daughter boards - what a mess!
Here are some items I believe I need to consider from a power perspective:
- (2) window break sensors drew power from old board
- (2) motion sensors drew power from old board
- (1) siren for now (ordered with kit, likely add second later)
I believe the three boards will daisy chain off of a single wall plug, and use Y splitters to connect all three to power.
Will the single power adapter be enough to power the three boards and the (4) sensors or will I need additional wall plug / and or relays?
