My Konnected arrives Wednesday but I went through my old ADT alarm disconnecting the wires and labeling everything getting them ready. One thing I noticed was that my old alarm has a smoke detector. I looked to change the batter on it but it didn't appear to have one. All I saw was an EOL (end of line) power supervisor. I looked up EOL and it said it reverses polarity or something. Are these OK to use with the Konnected board? My ADT panel has battery backup so I guess that may be why the smoke detector doesn't appear to have a battery.
