Will my current home monitoring service still work if I install this device?

My service does not have any smart connections but is simple alarm by the board.

Hi Drew,


This does not work with most traditional monitoring services (ADT, Brinks, Alarm.com). It connects SmartThings or Home Assistant to your wired alarm system infrastructure, and is a replacement for the board. SmartThings does have professional monitoring available but it is through a single provider, Scout Alarm. I'm not sure if Home Assistant has professional monitoring.

OK, so I currently have Ackerman Security Systems and would like to switch. I still have a contract with them, so will monitoring work for them with the konnected panel?
