Those of you that are currently using the SmartThings Classic smart application Samsung is rolling out a new login on process. You will receive a banner announcement directing you to update your login from the old SmartThings account to a new or existing Samsung account.
>>> Warning<<< If you are using an Amazon Fire HD tablet to access the SmartThings Classic application then after completing the conversion to the new Samsung login account you will not be able to use your SmartThing Classic application. This is due to Samsung forcing you to have one of the following browsers as the default to complete the authentication for logging into the new Samsung account (Chrome, FireFox, Safari). The issue is the default browser for Fire OS is Silk which Samsung isn't supporting. So before you update be aware that if your using a Amazon Fire Table and switch to the new Samsung login as they request your SmartThing Classic application will no longer work on you tablet.
