Grounding Wire from old Alarm Panel

My old alarm panel had an earth ground wire which connected to the board on the bottom right for "proper grounding." Do I need to connect that wire to the Konnected panel to prevent any electrical issues?

I have the same question having a ground wire from the old security panel. I see the ground terminals to ground sensors to the board but what is the appropriate method to ground the board to earth?
